My post was literally a wall of text breaking down every single stat from the bottom up and listing exact examples of when and where it's used in the game and why or why it isn't being used correctly in events. I'm so so sad about losing the post, it was literally a gold mine of data. I would have been perfectly fine and I would have done the copy and paste thing you suggested, but all that happened was that my mouse dropped onto the floor because it's a wireless and it was slightly off balance. It fell the wrong way and the browser went back without asking me for any confirmations. -tears-

That said, I will most likely try to post s dumbed down version of the post in about 10 hours when I wake up. And I'll be honest, it's going to be a brutal post. It won't be nice because like I pointed out earlier, many stats are essentially useless in the current version of the game. And then in terms of that stats are actually used, many times the event creator will use inhibition as the trigger rather than corruption. Or they will use high corruption as the trigger instead of sex/lust. So, be warned. My post will be detailed and will support my claims. But I'm going to tell it like it is. If my arm ever heals, I will do my best to upgrade ALL existing events to the new standards. This will be a huge restructuring, FML.

Poppers were not what I was vaguely thinking they were in my head, once I looked it up on wikipedia. Plus you have at least decent reasoning for decisions.

I'll doubt I'll add it though. Having now read the wikipedia page as well. It's just a bit too niche and probably terribly old and forgotten.

Well, first may I say hello again after a long long absence, it was never my intention to leave the board, but a lot of things happened in personal life and at work (mostly good on that front, forced into a position, but it was a promotion technically) and I've tried to stay up to date on here by lurking (and boy do i feel bad about it since I love this project) and never had the time to really post and talk, but this idea really catches my attention maybe it's because my high school had a student store (maybe it's a school district kind of thing since I'm aware it's not a thing for everyone) and I'd like to offer some of my own two cents into this

0-20 corruption:  Candy, Frozen yogurt, Plastic jewelery, popsicles, ice tea.
21-40 corruption:  Poppers, fluffy-handcuffs, spiked ice tea, sexy swimwear
41-60 corruption: Condoms, alcohol, weed/magic mushrooms, knock-off bags/sneakers
61-80 corruption: Various drugs (XTC/speed/LSD), (stolen) jewelery, sex-toys
81-100 corruption: Slave-for-a-day*, steel handcuffs/chokers/BDSM gear, viagra/cum flavored frozen yogurt.

* More or less drugged or willing school mates, sold to anyone to do with for a day.

I think that what they sell from the 21+ corruption point onwards needs a  little tweak, since the way I look at it from 21-40 corruption shouldn't be spiking drinks, I feel as though that would belong to a higher bracket. Here's what i suggest it be tweaked (and remember it's a suggestion only)

0-20 corruption:  Candy, Frozen yogurt, Plastic jewelery, popsicles, ice tea. (fine as is imo)
21-40 corruption:  Poppers, vibrating wand (for 'massaging use' only), deck of cards, laser pointer
41-60 corruption: Condoms, weed/magic mushrooms, sexy swimwear, penis-shaped popsicles/candy, fluffy handcuffs, spiked iced tea
61-80 corruption: Various drugs (from titsbig, bells, and you [asks for a restock every X days], and/or just an aphrodisiac), penis-shaped jewelry, used condoms (rare!), uniforms/swimwear with breasts/crotch cutouts, sex toys
81-100 corruption: Deluxe sex toys, steel handcuffs/choker/BDSM gear, viagra/cum flavored frozen yogurt/milkshakes, viagra/cum baked brownies/cookies/cupcakes(you can do almost anything, don't limit yourself just to the idea of yogurt), used condoms, use of stores gloryhole (both genders)

That's something how I would structure this, I understand that just the event in general is a pain to make the event for, I can't quite make an event with thee new VEE, but I can kind of edit it if I know what values are for what, but I hope you at least take some of this into suggestion.
I just tried to put the items with the rate of corruption as I saw it, granted you can probably still move some of this around and have it fit better, but seeing the spiked iced tea at tier 2 seemed really off to me.

Thanks for the suggestions.  I very much doubt I'll be implementing all items.  I initially figured 2 weeks, but turns out that I'm shit at creative writing and after I get back from work I have zero interest in writing some text.  So text writing is probably going to be relegated to the weekends when I can muster the effort. :P

As for spiked ice tea, I said it before but that's highly culturally dependant. I myself had the occasional beer when I was 13-14, and started really drinking when I was 15-16.

But it's probably best to go for the lowest common denominator. Or I guess in this case, highest.

My suggestion is to do it in phases. Start with lowest corruption. Implement that, expand on it, etc. Once you're happy with it and it's (mostly) bug free, call it complete, and start adding the next level on and integrating it into the existing stuff. Then repeat the sequence. That way you get new content out there for feedback/bugs while only focusing on a chunk at a time.

Booooooring. Just wing it. Drink 4 redbulls and make 5 full events and rework 10 others.

But in all honesty. Try making some easy events first and see how you like the flow of them. Through making easy events, you will rank up into medium to large scale events much faster. Like, pick an empty area or club and write something small. Like maybe for Kendo? Or the medical club? Or a small lake event. That way, when you're ready to tackle your student shop, you'll be armed with many more tools and some experience at your disposal.

At least that's how I learn. Some people aren't like that however, do what works best for you, and good luck!

jup, jup. That's precisely what I'm doing right now. Yesterday I've implemented the main controller for the event, and implemented the plastic jewellery and introduction.

I'm afraid my all-nighter days are behind me :) But with the main event in place, and having a good idea how it's all going to fit together I can now just write the item events one by one. Which will all be fairly simple things with maybe a choice or two.  Although today I'm going to try limit myself to staying in a word document instead of implementing them, while fun I can implement them any time, but last week clearly showed me that I can't be arsed to write text in the evening.

Although I'm not completely done with the generic event stuff. Still have to either create a unique student and force them to be at the shop location during certain hours, but that will also depend on images, undecided if I should go with the red head or try and find a reasonable collection of some unknown girl.

Either way, content first and I can sort out the technical stuff later.
