Not currently, but the next release will have an option in the MinigameConfig files to replace the minigames with a configurable skill check. For now, the closest you can do is to make them much easier by tweaking the MinigameConfig settings. I've got an attached file that does so, but it's a straight-up cheat -- lockpicking is instantly completed, and the hacking game becomes basically trivial (you have five minutes to complete it, the password positions never move, and the background changes very rapidly to make it easier to spot the password positions). It goes under \NormalSchool\MinigameConfig\

Thx, you got me there ^^
I didnt even look for updates because i thought with the 1.10 release the 1.9.5 download would be final with integrated updates/patches/sp. If it were not for the mods i would have gone straight to 1.10, but i thought i can at least try the game modded to my taste and learn my way around until my mods get updated or marked as compatible to 1.10 :P

SP1 uses rev 2348 - so your changes to the minigame config are already out. :)

Until the freezing and hanging get sorted (IF they get sorted), can we have the game load with Multithreading Disabled by default?
I was playing for all of ten minutes before it froze on one of Annette's events. (See attached)
It's been like this for nearly five minutes at the time of posting.
Well, time to force-close the game and reload.

The event is part of "AnnetteAsleep", if that helps.

I know there's a way to have a character appear at your present location, but I can't find the thread about that. Can anyone help?

Set Location for Firstname_Last To Location_Namethough they're unlikely to stay there without applying a status effect.

You'd be better off making a simple VEE event for it, or do it while outside the location - so there's a chance they're still there when you enter.

Uh. While they might appear complicated at first, once you start experimenting with them, events are pretty easy to make/edit. They make up most of the game's content.

The Visual Event Editor (VEE) is in the Development tab, you can see some guides for it below, there's also Docs in the game folder.

For this you could make a Button event that:
- Lists locations (Object Selection on Location List).
- Or takes text input for location name (input string).
- Or just uses your current one (Player Location Constant).
Then the same for Person choice.
And finally uses remote event FunctionLibrary\Location\PutPersonInLocation to put them there for X amount of time.

Might sound like a lot, but once you're familiar with VEE, this and many other things is just a few boxes connected together. To get a base for it you could edit/copy one of the Btn_ events in Your Bedroom.

Unfortunately there aren't currently any events in the Club Bar, so for now nothing will happen there. I've been collecting pics to try to develop some basic events for that club - there is a lot of room to develop it further, along with the Maid club.

I've only had the Mad Scientist trigger twice. Is it just random, or is there something that can be done to help trigger it?

The mad scientist can only be triggered:
* On School Days.
* Once every week (or 2 if you did successfully distribute last time)
* Only on mornings
* If you have enough energy
* Build a ward
* Have some funds
* Have at least 35 chemistry skill

Maybe there are other requirements, but the list above should help.

Once those requirements are met, it's not really random - there's no RNG check. The only 'random' is how long the cooldown is (morning in 4-7 days on fail/refill, morning in 12-14 on success). So it should trigger if you give it a week's (or two) time.
