Seems like making a mod to allow both Andy and Annette wouldn't be too hard, but you would need a second bedroom and to change the default bedroom of one of them.  I think I remember hearing about a way to add a location without editing the locations file (It may be that the mod appends the location, I'd have to go back and re-figure it out), and changing the default bedroom isn't hard.  Would have to do a chunk of Vee editing but it would be more tedious than complex.
Create the new locations of your mod in the World Editor and save them as a "World Extension" in the folder of the same name. If the new locations have connections among themselves, you can connect them in the World Editor right away. But to connect them to an existing location from the official scenario, you need to use an event that adds that connection via "Location Connection" operation.

You can look at Lexville for an example - there's an extension file in the WorldExtensions folder and the event "Events\ExtensionLibrary\InitializeEvents\Init_ModLocationConnections.ve.xml" that connects the extension to the rest of the world at the start of the game. (Pretty sure there are some bugs/oversights in that event, but it's certainly fine as an example.)

Haya! Been dealing with the mess of life…

As I see it, the issue with another bedroom can be as easy as Color-text about the basement having additional space (in addition to the Dark Room), so just Spend to outfit it. Could make a small quest to get "home depot" materials to put it together.

A more complicated gameplay solution…
Early game: Annette (A, just because of my default choices) and Andy (B) have to share a room, say, for a week as you finish space in the basement. It can be easier/faster if Dark Room is not yet set up. If setting up Dar Room second, *it* takes longer (got to hide from the eyes of B, too)

Mid Game, suggest one sibling just share your room/bed. Either full time, or rotational basis (can be made full-time arrangement with either sib later, just make a choice, or first to fall in love with you takes it upon themselves to decide *for you*. Potential event, sibling argument but they don't tell you what it's about. Or sib argument and they make *you* choose. Depends on relationships.

Also Mid game, A&B develop a relationship with each other (completely in love with each other (and any friends), or in addition to their relationships with you) and opt to just share the one sibling bedroom, living together.

Optional event chain, A&B in love, you find them "spending time together" before you realize they're doing Date Nights.

Mid-to-late game you select A or B to be a slave and if the Dark Room is vacant, it becomes theirs.

Late Game, if no other events have already lead to this, and In-love is set to you, you declare that sib to move into your room and bed.

Note: for my gameplay, A=Annette as first sib to visit, B=Andy as 2nd sib to visit

Note: I'd still like to Date Sibling like you would any other character. Either phone them "hey, what say we have a night of quality time?" "You mean, like a *date*? (excitement level = relationship level) "sure" "It's a date!"

Or ask once you wake with them in your bed…

What do I need to do to progress the Samantha Keller quest line to practical sex ed? I've built the basement for her, gotten a request from another teacher to figure a better alternative to theoretical sex ed, waited quite some time, and I'm of course popping into classes constantly but nothing seems to be popping. I tried checking this in the debugger but can't find anything after the approachkeller quest which seems to end after you've got the basement sorted.

Thanks mang. Looking back on it there was a hint to do that in the other teacher's dialog.

I feel the prostitute questline takes too long. It takes 2.5 days to get a visit, takes 3 visits per stage, and you have to do that for two girls. I would like to change the event so it's available daily. I've only a bare bones coding experience, but I'm pretty sure it isn't a single variable I could change to get that.
Would anyone be willing to help? So far I've opened the event file in note and ctrl+f to look for any times that might be it, but I got nowhere with that.

If you edit it with VEE, the part you need to look is the farthest to the right [Set Next Schedule], change the double connected to it.

If editing it in a text editor (I use Notepad++) look for this around line 22513
Code: [Select]
    <SeqVar_Double>
      <ID>69</ID>    <---- search for this
      <Coords>
        <X>14751</X>
        <Y>4218</Y>
      </Coords>
      <Dbl>2.5</Dbl>   <---- change this
    </SeqVar_Double>

Once you have changed the file you need to reload the file in your game.
Debug > Reload Events > Add Event File > find the changed file > Refresh Files.
(If you Add Changed Files, it may reload some files you do not want reloaded, resetting some things. Just reload 1 file at a time.)
If you are in the room where the event (in this case the button) is, you may need to go to another room and back to it to get it to run.

With code, everything is straight forward and I can explain it fairly well, with people it is more difficult.
Before reading more into my posts, know that I am not good at typing what I mean, I'm not good with explaining what I am thinking, its not intended to be offensive or defensive.

Thanks you, friend. So it really was just a single variable then? Damn, I need to get off my ass and learn this for my self. I've wanted to make a mod for a track club and get some anime tomboys in the game, but I can't do that if I'm struggling to even find a wait function. :P

does the carmen smith Bad Path/Corruption path break if you don't have a spy cam in your inventory when the event where you usually take her blackmail photo triggers? If yes, is there a way to fix it by changing the bit flags in the event files? Because I think I got locked into the good part by accident because I didn't have a spycam - I *thought* the blackmail event re-ran but apparently it detaches completely and t here's no way to reinitialize the rumors loop.

When choosing paperwork to work on, what does 'Updating the teacher's manual' do?
One would assume it helps increase education but nothing seems to happen.
I'm guessing that it increases the education gain you get per day but I'd like some confirmation.

Its very slow but it does increase there education and you can see it in color change in "Teacher Assignment" section on your computer.
All of them will slowly turn green to dark green.

Oh! is that what those colors are? the ones where you place the check-marks?
I've just restarted recently and most of them are red/orange with a couple of them being yellow.
So they change color over time based on the amount of experience/knowledge the teacher has in the subject?

Yeah, they reflect the "overall qualification" of a person to teach a subject. The qualification is usually comprised of three things:
- Experience in teaching that particular subject (and each teacher starts already with some experience in specific subjects, based on what they were teaching before the start of the game according to "lore").
- Experience in a family of subjects. Similar to the above, but each subject also belongs to a subject family. For example Chemistry and Physics are grouped under "Natural Science" while Biology and Anatomy are grouped under "Life Science". As someone gains proficiency in the family of one subject, it automatically benefits the qualification of the related subjects of the same family.
- Qualification based on stats. Each subject may put an emphasis on specific stats. Having high Stamina benefits School Sports and Swimming. Having high Intelligence gives a boost to Math and Computer Science.

The qualification of a teacher in a subject influences how fast the students gain experience and stat changes associated with that subject. So the higher the qualification of a teacher, the faster the stats of the students will climb.

The qualification of students for a subject can also be evaluated in the same way and is supposed to be used for student exams in the future, the results of which ultimately reflect how well you are doing as a teacher and which may also have an impact on your reputation. There are no events that actually do any of that, but it's at least what I was aiming for when I built that system.

Another side to subjects is the so-called "learning boost". It's similar to the qualification, but it may check for different stats. If a student (or teacher) has stats that give a good result during the "learning boost" calculation, they will gain another boost to advancing stats and experience in that subject on top of the boost that they get from having a qualified teacher.

That being said, the whole system has just been put out without putting much thought into balancing at this point, since there are no events that actually set any goals to reach yet. And as it is set up right now with all this boosting, it currently has the effect that you start slow in a particular subject but then end up snowballing more and more because as students and teachers gain more stats from the subject that belong to it, they also increase the rate at which they gain even more stats. Balancing this for a good gameplay progression could be quite complex.
- Some subjects could have some drawbacks, so raising their progress has negative impact on other stats (History, for example, is already set up to decrease the Happiness of students).
- We could also make the progression rather slow or introduce some means of having diminishing returns in the higher levels, rather than the current exponential growth.
- There could be some events that have a forced negative impact on subject progression based on your choices. Failing to restore order to an unruly class could result in a loss of progress in the subject that is being taught there at the moment.
- We could also have events where the principal helps students with some private lessons to boost their progress, which may be required to get passing marks on the later exams. But if you pick the wrong answers in those private lessons and end up teaching the students the wrong thing, it may have the opposite effects.

Another question, when flirting, if you have already used lines before and they get to the point where they say 'you should take care not to wear your lines out'
Is the flirting still helping at that point or is it annoying them?
No matter how much I flirt with certain characters they never seem to progress past the, "cool, unreceptive look"
Which I've always taken to mean don't try to compliment their personality or their body just stick with something insightful.

I didn't check it in the code so I might be wrong, but I always thought that the "cool, unreceptive look" meant that the character isn't attracted to the gender of the player (at least, yet).

Is there an honest way to corrupt the entire city? NPCs get aroused at the sight of naked NPCs? Do they interact with each other at all?
