Yeah... there's bugs with drugs 'cause they are an item
o  For my part, not going to delve deeper than that until/if such issues remain after 1.9.2
o  Others might of course

Oh... and BTW ADS... that's not a brush off. As, truth be told, you seem to have an uncanny skill at ferreting out real issues.
o  And hence, I normally follow up on same as a matter of priority.
o  Just that, right now, items behalf in strange ways indeed.
o  To the extent that, it would be simply chasing one's tail until the current fixes to the known issues are live...  ;)

Im stuck on the Peter corruption section- Im on the sextoy path and Ive done the masturbate option dozens of times.  Ive been checking on his stats and Im confident that everything should be good... but he still wont allow anything further.  Without modifying anything through debug I already have his corruption 70+, Inhibition ~0 and Willpower at 26.  At this point Ive also tried using debug to push all of these to the limit and I still cant do anything further.

Can anyone explain what conditions Im supposed to meet for this stage? Is there maybe a lower and upper limit on the one stat and I simply went too far too quickly?

Can you provide two pieces of information for me?
Exactly what text do you get when Peter masturbates for you (as well as you can provide)?
Are you playing a Female PC?

There was bug there. But I thought I fixed it.  Will take look when I get a moment.

EDIT:  Yeah you're right (I did fix one, but there's another).  Have fixed at my end and will release with the next update.

Alright I am coming back from a while of not playing that much. I just want to know if something has changed in how Samantha Keller's set of events (the ones leading up to you getting the Sleep Device and her "services") actually fire.
I have not managed to get the event where you ask her to monitor the computer room, she is pretty much corrupted to the max,
i have rigid and simple monitoring available for computer room policies (i remember it working with one of these though i have tried both).
I have completed the initial investigation where you find out what she does for a living
I have upgraded from the Computer Room to the Computer Lab.
If i am missing something obvious i am sorry, I decided to post here because i'm not truly sure if it is a bug or not.
Thank you everyone for your work

EDIT: Event Procced without any exceptions thrown, Thanks everyone

Hello,
Well trying not to spoil too much but to trigger the event a couple of events need to have triggered first...
Meet Keller in a class and have her watch over the computer room...
Next, you need to catch her in the act of using the device (in a subtle manner)...
Hopefully those clues were not too obtuse...

Toodles,

i have rigid and simple monitoring available for computer room policies (i remember it working with one of these though i have tried both).
Truth be told, it's purpose designed (like various others) that you may or may not see it every play through.
o  As, you don't "need" it to "win"

Firing however is very straight forward.  Best clues are are:
o  Requires a disciplinarian to monitor strict rules
o  You have to be able to catch her out (covertly)

EDIT: kremey and I were typing at the same time.

"Trying?"  I don't think he was "trying," that implies the possibility of failure...  ;)

Spinner, while I respect what you're trying to do with the Maid Club (for the most part), the fact is is that it's broken.

Ameli rarely if ever shows in the hallway, and the event nearly never fires when she does. And, on the rare occasion that the event does fire, it now doesn't progress beyond the first event.

Please, either in a bug fix or the next update change the Maid Club back to being triggered when you called Ameli into your office. That version worked, and it worked every single time.

This version of the event is broken beyond belief.

This version of the event is broken beyond belief.
One POV I guess.

Another:
o  It does work, just takes longer than it used to.  Proof of that is that I and others have progressed the chain to completion (multiple times).
o  It doesn't actually matter all that much how long it takes the club to progress. It's not a game changer.  And is, at best, a nice touch.

I do note that when things change, variously, ppl see the change as good or bad (sometimes the same change is one or the other to different ppl)
o  Personally I find best not to too hung up on a change, unless it's a bug per se and/or has some serious game-wide impact
o  This is neither

Yes, Spinner. I, too, have completed the Maid Club to it's conclusion. In the last version, after tearing my hair out trying to get it to work. A theme, you will note, that is common to every one who has posted about the subject since the release of 1.9.0. You, and only you, seem to be convinced that hinging a major quest on a random even with a low chance of happening is a good idea.

And it really, really isn't. It's bad when Paradox does, it's bad when BioWare does it, it's bad when the Pokémon Company does and I'm sure if actually played a Bethesda game, I'd find it a bad gameplay decision when they did it too. And it's definitely bad when this game, which relies far too much on random events with low probabilities to begin with, does it too.

And yes, this is a major change across the game. By altering the Maid Club, in any way shape or form, you alter three other clubs and their quest lines. And given how short this game is on content to begin with, you can't really afford to make that sweeping of a change. Moreover, you are not merely altering the time it takes to complete the quest: because there is no reason for the majority of players to go into the hallways unless they are looking for a specific event, most people will miss the Maid Club and free four clubs in their initial stage.

I'm going to be blunt: the changes made to the Maid Club quest line are bad. They are poorly implemented, frustrating, and reflect poorly on both the game and its programmers. And I am going to ask you, once more, to please fix this event chain. If you really feel the need to stretch out how long it takes, then increase the intervals between events. Say, make each time you interact with Ameli need a week between each event.

But make the events triggerable through distinct actions on the part of the player. Not a random event with a low chance for a major quest line.

Please.

I didn't feel the need to stretch out how long it takes.

Motivation was simple: To me, story matters
o  The picture and text as it stood was odd at best
o  She's in a hallway, swinging on a broom.  The first two times you see her, but avoid her.
o  Let's see: I call her to my office, which somehow morphs into a hallway, where I avoid her, then morphs back to being my office  ???

I considered rewriting the story, so that maybe there were more locations
o  I may/may not still do that (if/when more important things are behind me)
o  But, as I've said before, there's room in the game for sub-plots that you may not see every playthrough
o  Indeed, it adds to keeping the game alive from play through, to play through, to play through
o  In it's current form, the maid club is one such sub-plot

Personally, I can't even imagine how you put it in the class of "major quest line"...  ???
o  You're quite wrong about this change altering anything else.  That's simply not the case.
o  The maid club's effect on other clubs ends before this stage.  And that is how it's been for some time.
o  There's very little in the way of ongoing maid club events (one in fact)
o  So...

Played a bit to test the maid club quest line in the latest version. Got through four hallway events relatively quickly this time. Although, in this playthrouh i've deliberately wandered in the hallways. Also, the Ameli's class schedule was set to blank, so maybe it affected the frequency somehow. By the way, Ameli tends to appear mostly in annex wing (3 of 4 events), but maybe this is only a coincidence.
