Can mods be removed from the game? I've installed some broken ones
It is certainly possible, but unless you know what you are doing it would be much less trouble to do a fresh install using the instructions provided on the forum.
If you want to try removing the mod manually then you will need to identify every file the mod changed, then replace them all with the original file. That said, you would probably be better off asking for help on the thread where you got the mod, as somebody there might be able to troubleshoot why the mod was broken in the first place.

I don't think they check here anymore, or at least not very often. Its fine, I was just curious if there were a way that I was missing since I took a look at the debug menus and decided I was too stupid to understand them, and that I could have missed the delete button.

Is there a way to make it present less often? It keeps triggering, and just having it appear less would be the next best thing

Yes.

Not sure what mod or event it is, but you can change one of the following:
* Increase the time between two events. Most events have a "Set Next Schedule" operation at the end. Just increase the time here.
* Add a random chance to trigger the event: In the try phase, add a "Random Chance" operation.
* Disable the event completely: Just clip the try phase.

Both are done by opening debug -> debug events -> find the relevant event -> double click on the event.
Then you can edit the relevant event.

Another way is in the Edit menu > Event Properties then change the Schedule Day to 9999
If the event is triggered by another event then clipping the the try and execute would work.

With code, everything is straight forward and I can explain it fairly well, with people it is more difficult.
Before reading more into my posts, know that I am not good at typing what I mean, I'm not good with explaining what I am thinking, its not intended to be offensive or defensive.
