Parker Chain Female Only Fix
« Reply #15 on: May 14, 2020, 02:03:02 am »

So, I'm using the female only mod in a new file, and I'm trying to start the Parker chain. Whenever I try to get the first event at the train station however, I get an error box with "ParkerChain: Config doesn't support operation." I've never had this bug, so I was thinking maybe there was some issue with the provided config file?
Here is an updated version, it allows the event to run without a male adult character.
There is still some text that has a random male as a minor role in groping, You can say they ride the train from some other city.
I am not good at writing text but if someone could write a variation with either a futa or female groper, I will add it in.

\Events\Location\Train Station\ParkerTrain.ve.xml

I am still looking for other events that need to be updated, please let me know if you find any.
I know Carmen Smith's quest requires male students.

Bug Fix and Female Only Fix for Swim Club Locker Room Event
« Reply #16 on: June 13, 2020, 10:26:02 am »

When I was at the swimming pool I got a message that I can follow 2 students.

Then we were in shower and the message said "Melaine and {P2_Name} is...."
I got this bug, found, fixed and improved the affected file for female only compatibility and more randomness.

In the original, ID:191 was missing person 2.

I changed the check so it only requires 5 fem/futa to be in swim club to trigger.
After that, if there are any males, there are 5 possible outcomes. If there are no males, there are only 2 outcomes.

If there is no sex outcome:
 - If the player is male and there are any boys in the club, you can only follow to the boys locker room.
 - If the player is Fem/Futa or there are no males, you follow to the female locker room.
If anyone wants to write/image something for you choosing to follow the other gender or any other ad-ons to this, attach it here.

Fix for Onsen membership after gender change
« Reply #17 on: June 17, 2020, 09:30:46 am »

...
Re the onsen key:
I think (way back when) I may have had that as gender based.  But of course, that doesn't make sense.

The way it works is: you're issued a key to one of the doors, based on your gender at the time.
Post relevant quest completion of course, that key is modified to unlock both doors.
Either way though, it's the key, not your gender that opens the door (which makes more sense).

It'd probably be a nice to add some events about entering the wrong room based on gender.
You know, in case you gender convert using drugs, then walk in on the men or women when you're not one of them. :D
Yeah, I figured out the gender trick, made myself female, entered the Onsen for the first time, went back to male, and used the women's side...grin.
...

If you unlock the Onsen as a Male, you get the key to the Male locker room.
If you unlock the Onsen as a Female or Futa, you get the key to the Female locker room.
If later you change genders, you still have the key to your old gender's locker room.

This mod makes it possible to get the key corrected to your new gender.
It does not give you Both keys that the quest gives you, it just gives you the correct key for your gender.

I am not good at writing text so I just left the options generic for now. Please write something and give it some stat changes.
It should work for both Smallville and Lexville. If you debug it, it will throw an error because of the compatibility check.
The event has a timeout so it may not fire immediately after changing gender, you may have to wait a day or two.

Time Events
« Reply #21 on: November 06, 2020, 09:29:34 pm »

I am making events to check times

This will be a work in progress
They will all go into \Events\FunctionLibrary\Time
They will be made to work in all 3 versions (1.9.5, Lexville and 1.10-beta)

The first gets the day of the week from a date.
Input the date you want to check and it will output the day of the week as a number and a string. 0=Sunday,1=Monday,etc.
Both Try and Execute will return "DotW Number" and "DotW Name"
Try will check if the day number is what is asked for in "Check if Day #" and return Accepted if it is.
Execute will always return Accepted.
\Events\FunctionLibrary\Time\GetDayOfTheWeek.ve.xml

The next few will be (in no particular order):
  • Get date by day of the week
  • Monthly events by day of the week
  • The Lunar calendar

The eventual result of this will be to be able to get something like: "the last Friday of each month", "the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November", "the first Sunday after the first full moon on or after 21 March (Easter)", etc.

Fix events when reloading events
« Reply #22 on: December 04, 2020, 08:02:09 pm »

When reloading events, some events break. This is a fix for 2 of them (so far).
This mod adds checks at the start to see if it has been reset and if it has, fix it.

If PrincipalSleepTracker.ve.xml is reset the player will "Collapse exhausted" immediately on the next check.
This sets the (Last Slept At) and (Last Reset At) to the current timestamp.

If BreakInMain.ve.xml is reset after you have started Lockpicking, you can't pick locks anymore.
If you have any Lockpicking skill, this sets (Not Yet Trained) to False and sets the newspaper article to read.
It does not give you a Lock Pick if you don't have one.

There are folders for each 1.9.5, Lexville and 1.10-beta

I will check other events that get reset on reload and add them when I find them.

Birthday mods
« Reply #23 on: December 08, 2020, 11:13:22 am »

I am working on updating the way the game handles birthdays
I am making it for 1.10-beta but will make it work for 1.9.5 and Lexville later.

As it is now, if someone's birthday is on Febuary 29, they will not have a birthday at all.
I am making it so they have their birthday on march 1 on non-leap years.
When asked about their birthday, they will talk about leap years.

When asking someone when their birthday is, I am adding tons of variations.
v0.01 has variations is if you ask them on their birthday.
I want to make them say it is/was next week, next monday, last wednesday, last month, etc

As is my style, I am probably going overboard with it.

Attached is the first version v0.01:
Events\ExtensionLibrary\Chat\6_Personal_Info\BirthdayAsk.ve.xml
Events\FunctionLibrary\Interaction\SetBirthdayState.ve.xml
I have not tested it but it should work with 1.10 beta

Just wanted to say, I get a lot of use out of your 'Output People to CSV' mod. Thanks for making it.

I would like to be able to output additional information, especially the UID for each person. Could you add this feature, or do you have any tips for how I could add additional stats to the output?

First, I want to say, THANKS , for all your Mods, and the work that went into them !

Next, I'm going to try your "All Females" Mods next !
I just wish, I had know of them earlier  ??? , like just before I just started my current game  :o::)

Suggestion: (cause I think there may be others looking for this exact series of Mods), you should put the 'notation', of this series (the All Female Mods), in your "Mod Title", so others can more easily find them  ;).

And, Finally, Thanks for this "Guide to Starting a New Game" ! There's a lot of good & helpful, useful information, and suggestions, included  ;) :D ;D !

I have updated [HHS+ 1.9.5] Attachment - HHS People Database to version 0.7 adding in some 1.10 beta stuff.

Just wanted to say, I get a lot of use out of your 'Output People to CSV' mod. Thanks for making it.

I tried to make it easy to add more stuff into it, you just have to make sure to match up the Header row with the data rows.
I have added the UID column and added a clear strings at the end so it doesn't keep the result afterward.

It should be uploaded sometime tonight.

I have updated Output People to csv v0.6 adding an optional second button that will group families when outputting to csv.
The csv will add a (#) to their last name so you can quickly see who is related to who.
