I'm back with another bug. Maybe.

The 'effect_dict[effect.type, effect.target]' vs 'effect_dict[(effect.type, effect.target)]' thing seems to be bugged, and can result in certain effects being ignored altogether.

Do you have a fairly simple example in mind?

No. I can't get it to trigger again. Maybe something else was involved as well.

But I swear I had 'brothel.effect_dict[(stuff1,stuff2)] = []' and 'brothel.effect_dict[stuff1,stuff2] = [Effect...]' sometime yesterday.

I guess your installation is borked. What's the start of your 'BKfunctions.rpy', does it have 'from collections import OrderedDict'? I assume you have collections.pyo?

I have 'from collections import defaultdict'.

I guess Chris's Job Mod screwed the files up. Is it not compatible with 0.15b?

The only part of JobMod that may be compatible with anything that's not ancient is ChrisJobMod.rpy. Using any of the other files will mess things up.

The mod hooks from the other files are probably still included in 0.15b and even 0.2. I don't know how JobMod interacts with newer versions of the game, though. If nothing else, balancing might be off, especially for 0.2.

Are any of the other files needed for JobMod, or will it work with just ChrisJobMod.rpy?

Theoretically, no other files are needed if Goldo maintained backwards compatibility (and I don't see why he shouldn't have).

In practice, I have no idea. I guess you're going to be the guinea pig here. :D

Hey airwall. I provided a new version of the Jobmod in my thread, also with instructions for how to fix the things you broke by downloading the file from Jman. (Basically, install the latest update from Goldo again)

Sadly, Goldo for some reason (re?)named the hooks "chrisjobmod" in his sourcecode, so I had to rename my mod. Anyway, if you download the file from my thread, it will work with 0.2. Sorry for the troubles.

Sorry, I guess when I put the hook in I didn't have the correct name of the mod in mind. I don't see why I would have changed it later on for no reason.

Using 0.2 test 2 version, the following error occurred the day after getting the first advertising outfits from Sill. It looks like the picture for the uniform isn't being correctly invoked. Error can be ignored without game crashing, apparently.  Error occurs daily, but can be ignored.

So, this bug didn't generate any error reports, but something's definitely not right about it.

Using version 0.2 test 2:

If a girl who is assigned to the Whore job, and then is given the night off, she will still work. If she becomes exhausted, she won't be marked as exhausted and forced to keep working, because apparently the energy boost from allegedly resting her shift kicks in before the girl's status is updated, but messages about your whore becoming exhausted will appear on the brothel report.

EDIT: I attempted to avoid this by removing a girl who needed to be rest from the whore job entirely until she recovers, and setting her to no job. However, she still worked as a whore despite not being assigned to being a whore, and without any indications of why she did this.

2nd EDIT: I reassigned the girl to being a masseuse, but she still also worked as a whore after the masseuse shift. Oddly, none of the whore acts appeared to lower her energy level, despite notifications saying that three girls had become exhausted in the brothel report, all of them her.
