This was somewhat annoying as it runs out of memory around ~30 pics in, though the generation step on my machine is instantaneous. Here are the results:
12/100 originals generated.
18/100 gold traits.

I might have just imagined things.

Looks like it. ;D Humans see patterns all the time, even when there aren't any.

Just in case, you can repeat it a few times to make sure, maybe even automate the checking by using 'len([g for g in slavemarket.girls if g.original])' and 'len([g for g in slavemarket.girls if len([tr for tr in g.traits if tr in gold_traits])])'. Maybe even get 1k of them this time, if your machine can handle that.

Otherwise, interesting... Never encountered that myself, everything worked but was laggy. What memory did you run out of? The 'surface' error?

And what pictures are you referring to, the girl button portraits?

How do you train girls for sex acts? It doesn't seem to matter what stats I max out, she always resists.
In the first chapter or two, pick some kind of nympho, public cumdump, or at least someone who doesn't outright hate the act. Starting with a girl who hates sex is near-impossible when you're a newbie pimp. Later, you get trainers, items, furniture, higher levels and all that stuff.

Hypnosis and consequently Wizards are very powerful early game vs 'sub' girls.

If you give me a save, I can probably tell you what you're doing wrong.

Well, it's an acquired taste. I happen to like like power fantasies that start out rock bottom, gating and savescumming. ;D Late game is even more broken than vanilla, though.

Hell, even training a waitress required maxing out two stats.
Do you mean getting one to be a waitress - which is mostly doable from day 1 - or be a good waitress? Took me a few months to get one who regularly makes 1+ gold per night in chapter 1. In any case, girls working in a chapter 1 or even early chapter 2 brothel is not how you make money. Quests and beating up customers is.

If I wanted to lower the requirements to train in sex acts and make a girl work a sex act to something reasonable, how would I do that?

Which requirements? Preference levels? BKinit_variables.rpy, 'training_test_dict' and 'magic_training_test_dict'.

What would you consider reasonable? The calculation for working and training chance is pretty complex. If you just mean the hard thresholds to even try, these are in BKsettings.rpy, 'whore_test', ..., 'geisha_test'.

Otherwise, you could find five instances of 'mod = (self.get_stat("obedience") - 50)...' in BKgirlclass.rpy and change that -50 to something higher, like 0, 50, 100... Don't know if there will be serious balance issues due to that, though.

BKgirlclass.rpy, function 'obedience_check()'. But the calculation is pretty complex, and will branch out to other functions. If you modify the above function, change 'get_working_chance()' as well, or in-game numbers will be wrong.

Would it be possible to use the mod files for ChrisJobMod included in Bonanza for the vanilla game since the download for ChrisJobMod was removed?

How to disable showing default pictures altogether? I would like the game to replace a picture from a missing category with another picture in the girl pack. I don't like how right now, it seems the game takes preference of default pictures over those in the girl pack.

I've said it before, but that's something deeply baked into Bonanza, because I abhor inappropriate positions and can live with 'faceless' girls.

Smaug removed a lot of it (see the OP for link). I doubt he removed everything, and I don't know how well this approach actually works for edge cases. And his work is probably not compatible with the latest hotfix.

The ultimate recourse is to delete all 'default' pictures, and live with the game occasionally missing a picture altogether.

For me the trait generation in 4.1.2 is still broken (seems to only generate special gold traits as gold traits [with some exceptions] for some reason), I am pretty busy with uni right now so I don't have time to do the fixes for the new version.

What exactly do you mean? The headhunter? All gold traits? You can't order 'Famous models'?

Are you sure you're not running into 'opposite' traits or something like that?

I actually had a similar Issue (new Player of the Game) and was wondering what caused these Traits to not show up.

=> I think I actually found the root cause for only certain Gold Traits showing up (e.g. Ice Queen; Princess; Noble worked) which turned out to be the only gold traits that had a defined ", opposite = "X"" value in the Trait King.rpy File.
I added some random opposites to some of the other Traits based on this and that made them successfully appear on new generated Girls.

Did not manage to figure out really why this opposite entry (in the Trait Definition) is mandatory but it seems that it is (for golden Traits).

Headhunter worked fine and also generated the Traits that did not show up "naturally" in the Game.

Okay, I think I found the issue blocking non-noble gold traits. 0.4.1.2beta updated with a fix.

These friggin' Python indents will be the death of me... :'(
